Unusually low prices - How so?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our prices are on average 20-30% lower than the cheapest sex shops in the EU.<\/strong> We take 80-90% goods directly from manufacturers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In sex shop Redpipi, the gross margin for 2024 is 47.7%. That is, the markup on the purchase price is 92%<\/strong> (after accounting for discounts and depreciation of goods, respectively 100% average basic mark-up, previous years even less). According to the 2015 annual report, the country's largest store Erotic City has an average markup on the purchase price of 265% after discounts and sales, i.e. an average basic markup of 300%. For other web-based sex shops, the standard mark-up is about 130-200%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a rule, wholesale packaging (simple packaging) - saves on itself, but also a lot on transport (calculated according to the volume).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selection, 1 in 100 testing and quality<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Erotic aids are mostly selected at world exhibitions.  We only accept 1% for sale based on quality (safety), appearance, variability of use, price\/performance ratio and added value.<\/strong> Added value means a feature that is not available for the same price in another sex toy or combination of sex toys. Sex toy safety<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We do not approve low quality sex toys for sale from all sex shops. (see more Museum of Sex Toys<\/a>). E.g. dangerous vaginal mirrors, poor quality restraints, ropes, handcuffs (which abrade the tissue), poor quality pumps or inflatable devices (leaking air, not holding their shape). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can find these dangerous sex aids in most sex shops. <\/strong>Even one reputable sex shop had people writing to their website for months that the dangerous anal mirror was cutting their mucous membranes. They kept selling it anyway :). We pay more attention than our competitors not only to testing, but also to the safety of sex toys. In our sex shop you are deprived of a lot of products, but you have the assurance of quality<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professional critical product reviews. Benefits and alternative uses of sex toys. Truthful and critical information. This is not standard. For example, see if your sex shop lists popular marketing nonsense next to the description of a vacuum pump, how a pump will lengthen your penis, or how an enema benefits your health and cleanses your body . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We don't edit photos and we don't try to make the photo prettier than real ( we shoot in real angles ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We communicate with the manufacturers. For some products, we create or advance their development or determine qualitatively better features. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2020 we were the first to bring quality large silicone dildos under 100 Eur to the EU market <\/strong>(human or animal or fantasy). We design these dildos ourselves. Usually these large sex toys are only made of PVC or vinyl, both materials being too hard for a large toy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The standard market hardness of dildos is too high 15-30%. We have our or custom dildos manufactured in human tissue hardness 7.5HC or 7.5 % (more How to choose a sex toy<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We designed ergonomic vaginal pump<\/a>which is the only one that fits a small vagina and is deep enough. We have some BDSM handcuffs, whips and harnesses made in finer genuine leather. We had them made a safe o-ring that is not available elsewhere on the market<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What we don't want to sell<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are not satisfied with the design of erotic clothing in any price category. In condoms, the market works well enough. Artificial vaginas and masturbators don't make sense to us<\/a>. The quality of even the best TPE virgins is problamatic. We plan to offer only the higher quality 5th generation silicone pans. We are phasing out penis vacuum pumps - no customer interest and little added value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Latex - increased hygiene and health risks (lack of ventilation, skin reactions). Latex can be replaced by more natural, comfortable and cheaper alternatives (e.g. role-playing, costumes, sex in different places, handcuffs, metal and leather garments). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We see chemical stimulants, enhancement creams and other chemical products as unnatural and harmful to health (Poppers<\/a> etc.). We don't want to sell Viagra and its generics like Kamagra and we mustn't sell them<\/a> because of legislation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
