Comparisons of Womanizer vs Satisfyer clitoral pulse vibrators are usually several years old, where a Womanizer for 200 Euros is compared to an old plastic Satisfyer for 25 Euros. You only learn about features, controls and material. The beginning – Womanizer, Satisfyer and the others

Womanizer was the first with pulse technology of clitoral vibrations in 2014 and 2015 internationally. Satisfyer joined shortly after and was at the top of sales until 2016. Womanizer sued Satisfyer for copying, but the technology of clitoral pulses is so simple that it cannot be legally protected. Womanizer had to be unsuccessful in its lawsuits, despite the fact that the design solutions are different. Ideas themselves cannot be patented. Only technology beyond the scope of current technologies, and no pulse vibrator is definitely not that. It was quite possible that it was just a marketing “advertising” dispute without the knowledge that it could not be won.

Both Womanizer and Satisfyer are originally from Germany. Satisfier, however, is manufactured in China (as of 2024 also Womanizer). Currently, there is peace between Womanizer and Satisfyer. Basically, they do not compete with each other. Womanizer appeals to more affluent customers with a higher quality product and Satisfyer dominates the mass market with price and marketing. We can compare it to a luxury and people's car.

We are not fans of the Womanizer (high quality, but expensive) or the Satisfier (relatively expensive with poor quality). There are quality tapping pulse vibrators on the market for under 50 Euros.

Clitoral pulse stimulators (vibrators)

Clitoral pulse stimulators (vibrators), often incorrectly called vacuum, work on the principle of the vibration of the gate in the cup attached to the clitoris. The pressure is very slight. In practice, it is caused more by the clitoral or nipple tissue being squeezed, forcing the air out of the cup. Not by the action of the device. It is thus a deeper vibration rather than a vacuum suction, not only in technique but also in sensation.

The added value of the Womanizer lies in many other features besides the interesting idea of long known technologies.

1. Unlike the vibrations of the Satisfyer and most of the competition, the Womanizer pulses are deeper – like tapping and they also go from the sides. It is a little more intense and leads to a faster orgasm. Probably due to the more sophisticated design of the suction cup. Unlike the Satisfyer, the suction cup expands towards the clitoris. That is why we talk about “tapping”.

The Womanizer, unlike all other pulse vibrators, can also do rapid mini-vibrations. We can't describe it exactly, but the tissue starts to dance under the vibrations.

2. For the extra money, you also get a lot of extra features and comfort with the Womanizer. This is often not common in the world of sex toys. Womanizers are quieter than the competition. The accessories of the more expensive Womanizers include an additional replaceable shallower cup that dampens the pulses for those who want less deep (less intense) pulses. The most expensive Womanizers also offer a sensor for automatic activation and deactivation when approaching human tissue (or any substance).

3. Womanizers have an ergonomic futuristic design. This is what all Western brands strive for, unlike the Chinese, who can also produce quality things, but they simply can't do the design. Womanizer has a functional solution in terms of grip, lightness and functionality.

That the Womanizer, unlike some Satisfyers, doesn't offer Bluetooth phone control is a beauty flaw. You do have to hold the pulse vibrators on your clitoris and you can learn the controls by feel, but it's more comfortable on a mobile phone. Internet control would be appreciated even by a remote partner.

Other tapping pulse vibrators – G vibe, Bee, KMG Love Spice

Most pulse vibrators and perhaps all Asian competition have a classic design like the regular Satisfyer (cylindrical bore and cup) and not like the Womanizers. The Bee pulse vibrator has a cup like regular cheap pulse vibrators, but the pulses are tapping like a Womanizer. Satisfyer

Satisfyer still made most of its models plastic in 2019, while many Chinese brands were already all-silicone and cheaper in 2016. Satisfyer has invested in marketing and it can be seen everywhere – at exhibitions, events with porn actors, etc., and also in the frequency of products. That is why quite a few Satisfyers are of low quality. While the Womanizer was at the top from the beginning in the second decade of this century, in terms of functionality and all-silicone cover, Satisfyer has come a long way.

Around 2019, Satisfyer became cheaper and virtually wiped out the remaining Asian competition from the Western market. It improved the packaging and often added a silicone cover. It added mobile phone control to some clitoral stimulators, albeit with about a 3 year delay against premium Chinese brands. Satifyer still lags with design and sometimes with quality, but has improved significantly. Therefore, the usual comparison of Satisfyer vs Womanizer from 2019 and older has no relevance now.

Satisfyer will offer some of the Womanizer's pleasure for about a quarter of the price. It'll give you a decent ride as a people carrier, but it's far from a luxury sports car. Not only in workmanship and ergonomics, noise level, but especially in stimulation efficiency. The pulses are hollow, more like a vibration than the tapping known in Womanizers. The only Satisfyer that comes close to the stimulation of the Womanizer is the Pro 2 Generation 3 Liquid Air App, if you put on a second cup with a diaphragm. It still doesn't reach the stimulation efficiency of the Womanizer, but it's close at a third of the price. And that's already going to be the clincher for the vast majority of people. The others

Other brands of pulse vibrators are essentially invisible and unsaleable in Europe thanks to Satisfyer's strong marketing. A bit of a shame. Dual pulse vibrators (clitoral stimulators)

Dual pulse vibrators have a curved body. On one end a cup for clitoral pulses, on the other a vibrator for vaginal irritation, especially the G-spot. Unlike the classic pulse vibrators, there are not many of them yet. Apparently Womanizer started this a few years ago. Satisfyer didn't add theirs until 2022, and not a very hilarious one at that.

It costs as much as the more expensive Satisfyer, but performs close to the Womanizer's efficiency. Plus, it's the only one that holds itself in the body. Compressor suction clitoral stimulators – true vacuum suction

These stimulators have more sophisticated technology than the classic clitoral pulse vibrators. Real compressor suction. The suction cup sucks in air along with the clitoris or nipple. The sucked air comes out the other side. But for simplicity, we also incorrectly refer to them as vibrators. The suction is much stronger than the Womanizer, but the frequency of the pulses is at most one per second. The suction periods are therefore significantly slower than the pulses.
