Do animals suffer in animal porn? Is animal porn illegal?

Many people believe that animals suffer when they have sex with humans. Animals also enjoy sex and can clearly express their consent to sex. Anyone who claims otherwise has never seen a porn of a dog or a horse with a woman, or even simple sex between 2 dogs outside in a park... Zoophile films, purely by their content, also refute the myths about dogs' claws being torn off so that the dogs don't scratch the human actresses. Dogs have claws visibly in the films. Sometimes they pull socks over their front paws, and the dogs clearly don't mind it at all.

In animal porn films, 95% involves voluntary sex between male domestic animals – especially dogs, less often horses, etc. farm animals – with women (exceptionally with men as passive anal partners). The rest are male and female domestic animals that do not show signs of stress or anxiety. These animals do it voluntarily without reward and without orders. They do not suffer. On the contrary, it can be observed that they enjoy it. This cannot be said about porn actresses in regular films.

Bestiality films with animals in stress are not popular and are filmed exceptionally – maybe 1%. These are extremes of the type where several small snakes, fish or beetles are squeezed into a person's body. However, the stress of these animals is less and shorter than, for example, 300 carp in one tub at a pre-Christmas market. Fishermen hypocritically claim that the squeezed carp have enough oxygen. So imagine yourself in a 2x2m elevator with 12 people for several days. And without light, because most of the carp are in a tub at the market below and do not see daylight. Fortunately, in the EU in 2022, but with effect until 2027, they banned the breeding of hens that cannot even turn around in a cage their entire life.

Certainly, a negligible number of animals suffer per 100 bestiality films compared to the number of porn actresses who suffer per 100 normal porn films. According to my estimate, a maximum of 20% porn actresses enjoy filming human porn (perhaps 90% of porn actors). Most porn actresses suffer more or less for money when filming regular porn films. Physically and psychologically – loss of self-esteem, subsequent social stigmatization. Sometimes also as a result of drug use often associated with the porn industry. Unlike porn actresses, animals also do not suffer psychological trauma or social concerns from sex.

Is animal porn illegal?

Laws in European countries generally prohibit the production or distribution of animal sex films. In the Czech Republic, Section 191 of the Criminal Code. Until 2007, zoophile porn was legal in the Netherlands and most films were made there. Now most animal pornography films come from South America and Russia.

The law here does not protect the animal (there is a separate section against animal cruelty for that), but the human actors in animal porn and their respect and psychological integrity. However, the same provision also prohibits all “pornographic works with expressions of violence and disrespect for humans” – i.e. BDSM films, staged rape and basically all extreme sexual practices with elements of submissiveness and dominance. Of course, this is not being observed, and in this part it is clearly a dead legal provision. In other words, the legal prohibition on the production and distribution of BDSM films, violent sex films and animal pornography is formally in place, but its violation cannot be punished.

Unlike classic porn, porn actresses in animal porn do not suffer physically. Sex with a dog lasts a few tens of seconds. In the case of sex with a horse, the porn actress always takes the horse's penis only to a depth that suits her. The identities of animal porn actresses are sometimes partially protected by a small mask. Animal porn is much less sought after and available. There is less risk of an animal porn actress being outed and socially stigmatized. It is hard to look into the soul of porn actresses or animal porn actresses when one does not know any personally. When comparing the expressions of porn actresses in ten thousand human porn films with a few hundred animal porn films, animal porn actresses suffer less in my opinion. Thus, the social danger and criminal legal prohibition of animal pornography is pseudo-moral, questionable, and determined more by history and religion. Also, what kind of lawyer would lobby for lifting the ban on animal pornography :)?

Simply storing animal or BDSM porn on a disc is not criminal, unlike storing child porn (§ 192 of the Czech Criminal Code). By the nature of the matter, the production and distribution of 3d animal porn (animated) is not punishable because no one suffers there. Similarly, the production and distribution of animated or 3D animated porn with pornographic depictions of teenagers over the age of 10 is tolerated.

Who watches animal porn

The audience will be relatively small due to the limited availability of animal porn. Until sometime before 2022, obtaining animal porn required more effort – Emule, Tor or possibly a paid membership on a server. Now animal porn can be found quite commonly. It is probably related to the definition of European case law that simply sharing links cannot be considered as the dissemination of an audio video work within the meaning of copyright and criminal law. However, many people do not know about the recent general availability of animal porn. Out of curiosity, everyone to whom the film is available will watch it.

Only a small percentage of people repeatedly search for targeted animal porn, I estimate up to 20% men and up to 5% women. These are usually passionate men looking for extreme experiences. The vast majority of viewers of animal porn are not about zoophilia. What is interesting is the strongly present element of submissiveness on the part of the actress and dominance on the part of the viewer. In the sense that the woman would definitely give me too and would obey in everything when she fucks a dog... Extreme sexual fantasies with elements of strong dominance or submissiveness indicate a deviation and perhaps even sexual perversion. However, this does not indicate a person's mental health or self-confidence or their danger to society. Porn with adult actors, including extreme and animal porn, does not make people dangerous to society.
